“[i]f you work in an old-school cubicle, get ready to be a bit jealous…”

The Denver Business Journal commented after touring the Enterprise 5280 coworking space that “[i]f you work in an old-school cubicle, get ready to be a bit jealous…”**. This month we want to highlight a few of the reasons why Enterprise rocks at coworking and show why people stuck in the old way of working should be jealous. A few of the reasons include awesome member events, a coworking space designed with our members in mind, and dogs… lots of dogs.
What awesome events did we have in the coworking space this month? Well, every second Thursday at Enterprise our coworking community gathers for our Breakfast Club. This month we brought in the fixin’s for a DIY burrito bar and tasty treats for breakfast dessert.
We also hosted the August Education Series seminar on “7 Common LinkedIn Mistakes and How to Avoid Them” for the Mile High Young Professionals in our large meeting room space. And every Wednesday, we host our Getting Over the Hump Happy Hour for members. Some days we invite everyone coworking that day to do wine and cheese, but most days we make popcorn and have beer and games.
This past month we also officially opened the rooftop for members to enjoy beautiful views of downtown Denver, RiNo, and Curtis Park. We tried to host a BBQ and lemonade party with cornhole on the rooftop for a pre-party before heading over to the RiNo Art District Social rollerskating at EXDO Event Center. Unfortunately, we got rained out from the roof (“Hello Fall!”), but we made the best of it and made dinner together and chatted in the kitchen. The highlight of the night was being reminded that rollerskating is not like riding a bike and falling on cement hurts. But we had a blast despite the bruises!
And dogs! Lots of dogs! But I’ll save the dog photo montage for next month. 😉
