Brandi Hardy is the newest Community Manager at Enterprise Coworking in Greenwood Village! We thought we would give Brandi this month’s spotlight to introduce herself to the Enterprise community.

Q: Tell us about yourself!

A: My name is Brandi and I am 22 years old. I moved to Colorado in March ’18 from the Pacific North West and from a family of 7 siblings. I’ve always grown up with snakes, lizards and other reptiles in my family so when it was time to get my own pet, I chose two bearded dragons whom I named Alberta and Eleanor (Bert and Ellie). I’ve always loved school and I am currently finishing up my associates in communication. My mind changes constantly on what I’d like to pursue a career but ultimately, I know I want it to be in an occupation that deals with helping people and connecting them with what they need.

Q: What is your biggest accomplishment?

A: I’d say my biggest accomplishment would be making the very rash but amazing decision to move to Colorado at 21 years old. I didn’t know anyone in the state, no job and no place to live but the ultimate goal was to be in a different place than I was in life back home. I have always been driven and known what I wanted. I come from a very small town that didn’t have a lot going on so once I turned 18 the goal was to move to a bigger city. When I
got the opportunity I was very afraid but the excitement of being in a new place with new people completely trumped the feeling of being unsure! The grass is always greener where you water it!

Q: What made you want to work at Enterprise?

A: The concept of Coworking kind of reminds me of tiny little villages, all are working together for the common good of the area. I love the daily interaction and the opportunity to learn from many different walks of life that come into the building. I also love the fact that the Greenwood Village location is so new that there is ample room for new events and opportunities.

Q: What does community mean to you?

A: To me, community means togetherness. It took me a while to personally figure out what community meant to me because in my personal opinion community has a lot to do with how others act and treat each other. If there are people not getting along or harboring really negative views of one another for some reason I don’t consider that community. The word itself comes with a really positive connotation.

Q: What are some of your hobbies?

A: I absolutely love singing, whether it’s writing my own songs, remixing other songs or scream singing as loud as I can in my car on the way to work. I come from a very musical family and all family gatherings usually consist of really loud music, everyone singing to the same songs, cooking, and playing games. Another hobby of mine is making art in any form. I by no means have a steady hand for painting or drawing but I love it still! I like decorating not only the place I live, but also myself. I love tattoos and clothes and put a lot of thought and effort into how each of my tattoos look and how I dress everyday.

Q: What are 3 goals for yourself in 2019?

A: 3 goals for 2019! I’m really excited for this because i’ve been thinking about it a lot!! First goal is finishing school, I love school but I’m also really excited to finish it and really focus in on the career I’d like to pursue.

Second goal would be to get a dog. I’m slowly learning that I really love taking care of animals and I recently just lost my bearded dragon and would love to adopt a little pup and experience that level of responsibility.

Third goal would be to make more friends and work on building a solid support system here in Colorado. I’ve been here for a very short amount of time and have yet to establish a solid support system and it’s something I’m really excited to do!

Q: Is there anything else you want the Enterprise Community to know about you?

A: My favorite thing about working for Enterprise is the fact that the company is so open! They are open to new ideas and suggestions, the space is really comfortable, open and bright! I’ve been welcomed by everyone with such open arms.
